Visiting art fair Art Basel Paris 2024
Published on 24 october 2024On Saturday, 19th October, Stoja Art Collection Gallery team attended another important art fair, Art Basel Paris, to deepen their knowledge of the contemporary art market in order to educate their clients and provide them with the best investment advice.
Art Basel was founded in 1970 by a group of gallerists and has grown to become the leading platform that connects collectors, gallerists and artists. Its fairs are held in Basel, Hong Kong, Paris and Miami Beach, and there are also organised Online Viewing Rooms. Every year, Art Basel in cooperation with its main partner UBS, also publishes The Art Market publication, which aims to ensure greater transparency in the art market. This year's Art Basel Paris took place between 16th and 20th October at the Grand Palais. The fair hosted 194 galleries from 42 countries, 51 of which participated for the first time this year.
We are once again sharing some highlights from the event with you, and we were excited to find among the abundance of participating artists the works of authors that we keep in our gallery: Ross Bleckner, David Reed, Alighieto Boetti, Lucio Fontana and Sol LeWitt.
