The hearings of ministerial nominees will continue at relevant parliamentary committees on Monday, among others of the nominees for economy, finance and justice ministers. The government of Miro Cerar as a whole is meanwhile expected to be put to vote in the National Assembly on Thursday.

The heads of the Party of Miro Cerar (SMC), the Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) and the Social Democrats (SD) signed Monday a coalition agreement for the incoming centre-left government, ending almost six weeks of negotiations. The new government is expected to be inaugurated on 18 September.
