Rainfall Blocks Traditional Sea Salt Production in Sečovlje

He expects they would be able to produce 1,500-2,000 tonnes of salt, which would exceed the company's half-year plan.
Last year, they produced 3,170 tonnes of sea salt and 25 tonnes of salt flower.
The Sečovlje salt pans are one of several Slovenian sites included on the Ramsar List of Wetlands of International Importance.
The salt pans are owned by the national telco Telekom Slovenije, one of Slovenia's biggest companies.
