JERUZALEM MORMOŽ WINE CELLAR, ORMOŽ; The Jeruzalem Ormož Wine Cellar was built in 1967. Before that time grapes were pressed and kept in more than 30 vineyard cottages in the surrounding winegrowing hills. The cellar has the shape of a cylinder and is dug into the first terrace of the river Drava. It can store 6.5 million litres of wine and is designed in such way to allow the wine in the maturing phase to fall freely, without any forced pumping.
