KRANJSKA GORA SKI CENTRE, SLOVENIA; The white soul of Kranjska Gora is and always will be Alpine skiing. A special characteristic of the skiing offer of Kranjska Gora is the diversity of the slopes offering quality skiing to both beginners and experienced skiers alike. The greatest assets of Kranjska gora are for sure the ski slopes extending from the hill of Vitranc to the village of Podkoren and Planica. The skiiers can use 13 ski lifts and 5 chairlifts, 4 of them are 4seated. Most of the trails, about 90ha, are covered also by artificial snow and are convenient for skiers of different skiing abililities.
Those with more experience will like the polygon of Podkoren where every year the World Ski Cup competitions are taking place. Beginners and the younger skiers choose chairlift Kekec, Mojca, Rožle, Tinkara, Pehta, Bedanec which are all named after the characters of the well known mounain stories of the Slovene writer Vandot.
Today Kranjska Gora has 13 ski lift and 5 chairlifts, four of them are 4seated and one is 2seated. The trails are of different difficulty, from easy, medium and difficult trails.
